We saw Sky many, many years ago at Usher Hall in Edinburgh. Fabulous concert with Tristan Fry on drums with his huge Premier kit.

He said he got paid £24. (See video in 3rd post)
The set rate was £12 per session, but he got double rate because he played double bass and bass guitar.

That's a good run for someone who had a good life and left a great legacy of fantastic bass / music.
He and his music lives on, thanks to streaming services and vinyl tucked away in collections around the world.
