Not a bad age but a real shame. He was my childhood Bond - though Connery was arguably the best (Daniel Craig aside with the newer films).

What a gent, remembered with fondness.

Not the world's best actor (by his own admission), he seemed to me a nice man who didn't take himself too seriously. RIP Sir Roger.

Cheers,

Gaz

Been watching the persuaders again recently. Fab.

I thought his light hearted attitude to acting quite refreshing. RIP.

He made many an afternoon of mine much more enjoyable and will continue to do so. Thank you Sir Roger.

I grew watching him in the Saint and the Persuaders and admired him for his work with UNICEF, RIP Sir Roger!

Also not afraid to send himself up , which he did playing himself in
The Cannonball Run .

Another legend gone...my dear old Mum used to have a pic of him on her bedroom wall :)

I think somebody was having sex with him in the room next to me once

All I could hear was, " Roger....Moore "

I'm here all week
