road angel 2. any tips.

bought one of these yesterday. seems to work great. hooked up to my pc and registered it. computer says it takes 1 day to complete. installed software with great difficulty, but cannot synch the machines, says i need to contact blackspot.

if anyone has one of these, have they had the same issues. i think the machine may be locked until the registration is complete. still works in the car, just not freshly updated. contacting them, by the way, is useless. no surprise there.

I'd suggest giving blackspot a call, or email them again. Once you get through they are very helpfull.

The problem I had was that my unit didn't get registered, even though I got an email back saying it had been.
