Fire Extinguisher
Warning triangle
MB tools
spare bulbs
compressor
torch
newspapers to kneel on, or put under tyres in slippy conditions,
Black sack to put dirty tyres, parts in.

Mobilo phone number :)

Sunnies/umberella
Purse
Lippy
Mobile phone :p :p which has Ian W's number in it :D

In summer - just standard fitted kit
In winter - if it's going to be that bad - I stay home :D

Glad I started it

Glad I started the pump or compresser thread, certainly created interest , thanks , David B.

My car has no spare at all, so I carry the standard goodies:

Tyrefit kit
Warning triangle
Lock nut adapter
Wheel cover removal tool
Wheel brace

Most importantly:

Mobile phone to call Chrysler to rescue me if I get a flat! :)

Ooops. I forgot I keep my Mercedes Actros Ice axe and saw in the boot!

Cannot understand why anybody carries a compressor with them??

If you get a puncture, a compressor is as useful as a chocolate teapot unless you have a can of goo, in which case you dont need a compressor. Leave the compressor at home and save some fuel.

I keep in my spare wheel well:

Spare fanbelt.
Standard MB tool roll.
Torch.
Jump leads, not for me of course, to help somebody else out if needed.
Towel
A small can of water.
My AA card...........not in the boot in my wallet.

My compressor got the tyre inflated from totally flat to 30psi this morning which got me to a kwikfit 2 miles away. Half hour later I was on my way home. Without it I'd still be waiting for mobilo!

Tyre goo (no room for a spare)
Valve centre remover so I can insert said goo.
Compressor - necessary as the standard goo is in an unpressurised plastic container, not an aerosol can!
Can of Holts Tyreweld just in case I run out of the aforementioned goo.
First aid kit.
Warning triangle.
"SmartMove" phone number for recovery if its anything more life-threatening than a puncture or 2 :D

Spare Tyre
MB Jack and wrench
MB Tool Kit
Tool Bag-Anything and everything I, or any damsel in distress will need. ;)
Fire Extinguisher, under front seat.
Big torch
Atlas
Windscreen Cleaner
Roll of Blue Paper
Halfords Sponge, rough netted for removing dead fly's from windscreen or bonnet.
Net for boot
Large Golf Umbrella, for sheltering damsel in distress. ;)

MB tools
Oil
Water
Jump leads

Last items for helping others of course.

Brian WH, as you have Sat Nav, why take the Atlas ?

I have amplifier for my subwoofer in my spare wheel well (with the spare).

I carry a mobile phone and an AA full monty membership card and a Mars bar.

Jump leads because someone else always needs them, bulbs and fuse kit from the German GTG trip.

My spare tyre is a flat one and needs inflating with the supplied compressor

MB toolkit and triangle.
Torch.
Wooden block for jacking on soft ground.
A couple of old t shirts, for wrags.
Fire extinguisher.
Petrol can.
Box of disposable rubber gloves(for fetish reasons) Err, i mean, they are good for keeping the mitts clean!!!!!!
A halogen light that clips onto the batt and/or fitt the cig lighter.
Im sure there's more that i cant quite remember at the mo.

Oh yes. Origional mb first aid kit. I realy must update this as im sure 14 year old bandeges cant be very sterile by now  :D

Old habits die hard mate. For quick reference and to guide that Damsel in Distress too. :D :D

Forgot to mention that Sat Nav is in the boot when not used too. :D

AA breakdown Kit, Michelin compressor with emergency beacon, 2x triangles, large maglite torch, spare lip gloss in case i meet Pammy (fibbing really), RAC card in glove box, mobile phone, set of waterproofs (cos if it happens its bound to be raining), box latex gloves to stop fingerprints... i mean hands getting dirty your honour, MB tool kit and jack. Is the ice axe from a Norwegian roadside kit, the last snow we had was about 3 years ago.
