Should I be using something other than superglue?!

Currently detaching itself all the way to the top of the windscreen.

silicone sealant (bathroom sealer) maybe?

Will be sticky enough and, being rubbery, will provide a cushion. Superglue dries hard and is prone to snapping or could vibrate.
