one of my cosmetic roof trims which runs from front to rear is starting to lift, any idea how to remove. fix and replace, also what to ask for at dealership thanks

I had a similar issue on my W202, I suspect W208s are more or less the same (?).
The problem on mine was that some of the clips that fit into each roof channel, and also grip the long plastic strip, had worn. On mine I think the clips are either green & black, or cream & black (possibly depending on where they are located). It's easy enough to lift up the strip - especially if it is already loose - and the clips are pennies at the dealership.
They will be able to find the part number(s) for you, or you could try the Russian site (search forum for link) if you want to be more prepared before you go.
The most difficult part is removing the old clip/s - I had to push mine all the way along to the back of the channel using a screwdriver head (take care not to damage roof paintwork
) and it took a bit of force at times. And then again fitting the new ones!
