Yeah, these 107 hardtops are very heavy, requiring atleast 2 (preferably 3) people to lift them.

I'd be interested in a photo of the bootlid to see if there was any damage.

if it fell off whilst driving fast (which i think would be the only way it could come off due to the weight and the way it clips in) it most certainly would have dented chrome trim.

It's not just the photo of the hardtop in that article that looks photoshopped - the final photo of herself looks "artificially enhanced"!!
