RPM drops when giving gas??

Hello everyone,

So, am having an issue with my W220 that has the 7G gearbox.

Rpm tends to drop each time I give it a bit of gas while cruising. Then picks up speed as normal. Please see video for reference.

I think that it may be related to the torque converter.

Would be great if I could get some advice.

does it do this in a lower gear, with higher baseline revs ? ie no lugging ?

I'm missing something. The sound suggests you are pressing the throttle as the revs rise?
