Running power cable from battery to back of C32

Hi guys,

After some good help in my thread about swapping Bose speakers, I have decided to just add a sub to my C32 Estate.

I need to run a decent power cable from the battery, through the bulkhead, through the passenger capartment to the back of the car in the spare tyre well where I will be installing the amp and sub. I will then take a signal feed from the existing Bose sub to my amp.

Anyone done this before and know;

a) where there is a hole in the bulkhead between the engine bay and the driver or passenger footwells?

b) how to route the cable to the back of the car? Are there cable channels underneath the sills?

Any answers would be great and I will ensure that I post some photos and a guide when I work out how to do it!

That's a departure on the W203; the older Mercs like the W202 have the battery in the boot next to the spare wheel.

I am pretty sure that the battery is in the front but I have only had the car a few days now and have not had a detailed look yet.

My Mini Cooper S had the battery in the back which made it very easy to wire things up. Would be nice if it was the same on the W203.
