Russian site not working for VIN

Can anyone help with this please. I invested in a CLS 350CGi and I'm trying to look up the build spec. I have been trying to access the Russian site for a VIN ID but it's not working. VIN as follows:
WDD2193572A143879

Hi,Glad to read this post as I thought it was me not able to connect to the russian site.I have a list of numbers on a computer card at the back of the service book.Could somebody tell me what the build spec is on my 2001 c180 auto the vin no is WDC 203035 2R 032101 3 .Thanks for your time.

You should remember there are several Russian sites. The "Detali" site is missing many early RHD cars including this one. You have to be careful when entering the VIN, spaces are not good, neither the check digit, just enter 17 characters in a row without spaces.

EPC would give the best results but this Russian site does recognise your VIN:

The problem with this site seems to be that it does not list an option code if it does not recognise it properly. The detali site is a lot better in the sense that it gives correctly all codes but if often fails to explain the codes correctly (sometimes completely). There are other sites that explain the codes well, useful if one does not feel like subscribing to EPC makes sense.

EPC if it is like in the USA should be free to access info after one registers.
Accurate info from EPC as it provides the data card.

Russian sites had/have a few anomalies that translate to inaccuracies in decoding the VIN

Hi,I checked out the russian site and as you precicted it did not give me the correct numbers or at least nothing seems to match the info I have.The epc site sounds good does it have everything I need ie. detailed drawings.As I am now close to fixing my problem Pictures by eugekav - PhotobucketI think! I am not sure that I need any more info or £15 quids worth.but will have to see how I get on with my rad seals.If I get going again then the next issue will be a service by some people who know mercs and a go on a star machine as well as I dont think she has ever had the plesure.Thanks for your time.

Hi,Found my part the one that I found sabbataged its a sleeve,transmision oil line at radiator on the rad fittings and mounting page no16.Is that that the parts number beside the discription.I have been into mb parts today to pick up seals(described on phone and bought o-rings last week)and they had o-rings the same as i bought last week.The outcome was a sorry parts assisant who told me the sleeve is not merc and a new rad would be the answer if that is the parts number then I could buy the damaged part and seal that is not listed.Cant wait to phone with this parts number (if it is?).They offered to give me the parts as
a gift as this was the second time they had them,they thought they had them and did'nt.On the plus side fabulous coffee and top reception girls at watford never mind the carsThanks for your time Heres photo of sabbotage and fix.

Wow. I used the Mercedes Benz Club Russia 3 years ago and it came up trumps......but it won't recognise the VIN I've been given for a WDB211 estate I'm looking at...or I might be if I can obtain the full spec before I travel some considerable way to view!

The VIN given is WDB2112222B320508

Is there a site out there any more that will give me the spec...even if I have to pay! I've tried those suggested so far however with no success.
