rust in lower door.... under warrenty?

hi

noticed there is some bubbly rust at the very bottom of my drivers door - just where the rubber trim is attached.

its a 1999 CLK.

i heard that mercs have a long corrosion-warrenty.... does this mean i can take it to the dealers and get the rust fixed for free?

This depends on whether it's from the inside or started oon the outside. If it's inside-out and the car has full service history then it should be covered, if not then it wont be.

Take it into the dealer.
