Hi I am brand new to Mb forum & could I ask if anyone else has experienced the above my S has gone into
Limp mode and having diagnosed through Star a blocked 2nd cat downstream which will either need replacing
Or as a cheaper option could this be removed and an exhaust sleeve used to replace the mid section? The first cat is
Is good.

I am also experiencing a transmission judder under load and I fear that this may be a Failing torque converter
Or could this be related in some way to my limp issue above. She has just over 150k miles and has full main dealer history
2003 model.

Any thoughts please guys.. thanks Simon

If your going to gut the cat you would need to gut it and weld it back up, if it's missing it will fail an mot based on it left the factory with it, so it should be there.

Re: your judder, to be 100% you should get a glycol test done on the gearbox oil, from experience you will need a new radiator and a gearbox flush/service as the engine coolant and gearbox oil has mixed due to a failed twin core radiator.
