Dear users,

I have a 2004 s320 Cdi. The heater at its highest only gives out warm air. Any ideas as what the problem may be?

You time and advise is much appreciated.

Does the temperature guage read low?
If so, it looks like it may be the thermostat.

Thank you ted for your reply.

The temperature gauge does my go over 80 and normally is on 50. Is this low?

Yes. Definitely.
Get the thermostat changed and enjoy better fuel consumption as well as a warmer cabin. :)

Thank you Ted.

I am not sure where in the UK you are, however are you able to recommend a good independent Mercedes specialist in around Berkshire?

What Guydewney said.
It shouldn't be difficult, and any reputable indy should be able to do it.

Excellent thank you to both of you.

On a separate note, I am looking for a good independent Mercedes specialist in or around Berkshire. Please let me know if you have someone in mind.
