Hi everyone,

I’ve noticed on my s class, the radio reception is poor and also aux doesn’t seem to work?

Does anyone have an idea what the problem could be?

The car is a 2012 model

Any advise would be appreciated

Thank you

Aerial amplifier? Does not explain the no aux though I dont think.

Thank you for you reply.
If I was to buy an aerial amplifier, would it need to be coded to the car afterwards?
Yeah, it's strange that the aux doesn't work as well. I thought maybe they are both related.

Are you sure the AUX issue isn't just a too weak input signal? Has it worked before? At least older models need a line level input, not many sources today give that level.

The antenna amplifier does not need coding. Better to check that it isn't the contacts to the rear window wires.

'If' these use a pad on the rear window antenna it may have come adrift.
USB kit can interfere with the FM signal by producing RF interference, this would normally be kit close to the antenna, but some can transmit the RF over a distance. You might try unpluging any USB kit, if you have any, 1st.

It hasn't worked since I bought the car. I will check the wires on the rear window. Bluetooth works fine, cd works as well. Just poor radio signal and when I plug in my phone to AUX, there's no sound from the phone or the car.

Thank you. I'll check the antenna also. Nothing else is plugged in
