S class W221 indicator noise!

Ok a bit of a silly one, since i've had my s class....actually started on the test drive...I find the TICK TICK TICK TICK of the indicator extremely loud and annoying!
This week i've been driving my sons old 1.2 polo and that goes TICK TICK TICK TICK, lovely and refined!

Is there a way to turn this noise down?
