Hi chaps - can anyone recommend which way I should attack this problem? any input most gratefully received.
My 1995 e200 estate automatic - 203k miles has started to run erratically.
Its just had another full service new petrol filter included and when its running well its running like a new car, really runs well, BUT it has started to recently choke and splutter to the point of it cutting out at lights etc. When its driving I can rev through it but its starting to do it more and more recently. I initially thought it might be petrol starvation but have been thinking its more of an electrical/electronic issue. The car doesn't owe me a penny and apart from this its got plenty of life in it. Any ideas?
