s124 OMG Do they come much better?

I don't know what it is about 124 estates that gets this forum so frothy. That is a car with a recent 4½ year gap in MOTs, many MOT failures prior to that on record & with basic spec (3 options I can see, rear seats, leather & leccy seats) that has been tarted up & prepared to within an inch of it's life.

A good ad & photos can clearly make a difference to the perception of the target audience!

He takes a nice picture but does he ever actually sell anything ? 3rd or 4th time around for the green 124 and his 211 has about 40 bids at 2k. Shill bidding methinks.

Hey Andy, good to see you active.Yes I totally agree,he does make the cars look better than they are and this very car has been re-listed more than once I believe.I did mention on another car here The cleanest S124?? | Spotted on eBay! which was by the same seller

I had a 124 estate when I first moved to Norfolk 30 years ago. Lovely car and we kept it for 6 years until being lured into the refinement of a Lexus.
Things have moved on in almost half a lifetime, but refinement in a road car is still high on my list of priorities.
Now back in Norfolk, but I couldn't see that as part of the fleet now.
Hard to believe that there is no air-con, but ours had none either (89 model 230TE) but that was the last car I owned without air con.....except 'Vera' the Defender.
The heater was probably an option in that :dk:
