S124 Spare Wheel Size

Does anybody know if a 7.5J x 17 wheel with 225/45 17 tyre will fit in the spare wheel compartment of an S124?

It won't fit. Don't think anything wider than 6.5J will fit and even that is tight

As said no. Mines got the sport chassis and the spare is 205/60r15 on a 15 x 7J et41 8 hole as per the origional wheels. Can't even get a finger tip between the tyre and the wheel well/boot floor
