Hello all I am in need of help please!
I have a 2006 C320cdi with 110k
Recently I had issues of it juddering when at very low speeds ie stuck in traffic or pulling away up to about 1500rpm and is then fine. Best way I can describe how it feels is clutch judder or a light misfire! Seems to go when it’s been running for a while.
So I had it put on star and had lots of codes for air mass issues...the turbo intake pipe was all split and cracked etc so replaced it with one from MB....fault went away for about a month.... I have replaced the following today Turbo actuator (Vaines moved fine), back pressure sensor and removed and cleaned the EGR although wasn’t actually clogged.
Cleared the codes I had relating to the above and went for a drive and shock horror whilst cold it’s still there. Drive for half hour and is fine.
Only at low speeds! Any ideas?? Torque convertor??

Any help appreciated!

As far as iam aware the actuator is matched to the turbo so you either have to have the old actuator refurbished or a new turbo and actuator as a pair.

I thought the same but after doing a lot of digging I found out that there is a specific Code on the side of the actuator ...in my case a G219. Which is a direct plug and play. Plug it in and put it all back together and cycle the ignition and it sets itself. Confirmed with turbo developments before I purchased the recon unit also the local MB specialist just to make sure I wasn’t screwing myself.
