S204 Rear door not opening

Hi members

Looking for some help here.

The OSR door won't open with the outside or inside door handle. The lock mechanism operates normally. Any easy fixes or would it be replacing the actuator mechanism? Taking the door card out looks easy on youtube with the door open but not sure if the rest would be DIY?

More likely the actuator, not the easiest thing to do with the door closed.

We cut the handle off and use a pick to pull the mechanism to open the door. It will be the door lock as the cause. Buy new as loads suffer.

Thanks Olly. The door does work at times. Shall give you a call once life returns to normality.

We replace the lock, handle shackle and the handle when we do them.
