Well 2 keyless handles needed replaced so I ordered from Mercedes and asked if could paint them too. They've come back to me saying they've tried to paint a few times but cant mask button off properly so isnt a neat job and do I want my money back.
Are the handles a problem to paint I thought be simple job.

What a load of...........
What sort of paint shop do they use?
When I bought my CLS two handles needed replacing because the keyless function failed. The dealer (indie) ordered them from MB and had his body people paint them (in special Designo colour). Perfect.
Just find a good paintshop - you won't pay MB prices either.

Can I send my primed handle to you, so that you can take it to that body shop haha. I have got a handle sitting here for months as I am afraid something like beastman's paint job.

Lol thot Mercedes dealer would mean quality job obviously not. Be going to a specialist instead.

Nonsense! It was obviously far better when they came from the factory colour coded, but this stopped a couple of years ago. I have had three painted by MB Brooklands (Tanzanite blue) and all have come out fine and I am pretty fussy.....more irritating is how often they go wrong. But do remember you get a two year parts warranty on AMGs. I had two replaced under warranty after they failed again after 18 months.

I would just ask for a HUGE discount and then go and get them done yourself, as already suggested above. After all, they are of no use to MB now!
