It is time to move on my current car. I need a petrol for the incoming Bristol ULEZ which is the reason for the sale.
I only purchased this car as a stop gap for a 2 week family holiday to France but it has been great to own and I have ended up keeping it for 3 years and over 25k miles.

2006 (56 plate) Mercedes E320 CDI elegance estate
Cubanite silver - I like this colour as it is more interesting than the default silver. It has a bronze hue.
Black leather interior
Approx 159,000 miles

I have spent lots on this car and always had what needed doing and has been looked after by Steve at Avantgarde Automotive in Clevedon

Good bits:
MOT until June 2023
Recent service, so not needed for another 12 months
Replacement turbo last year (£1700 eek!)
Nearly new tyres all round
Recent pads and discs all round
Heated and cooled front seats
Wood and leather steering wheel
factory fitted retractable tow bar (I never used this)
recently re-gassed aircon - works perfectly
Seats - good condition with no rips or tears
Bi-Xenon lights
Aux in in glove box
6 CD changer

Bad bits:
2 small rust bubbles - one on tailgate above the number plate plinth and another on rear arch, drivers side. Both are hard to spot unless you are up close and there is no structural rot that I know of and it was recently serviced and up on ramp. Few stone chips as expected on a car of this age. Scrubs up pretty well for its age and mileage. I will upload some images of this area when I work out how to reduce the size of my files as they are too big currently.

Slight driveline judder on low throttle input. I took it to a well respected gearbox specialist locally who could not find any problem with their inspection and diagnostics. It has not worsened over the last 6 months or so and there are no other issues with the gearbox function. Most people would not even notice this as it is subtle, but wanted to mention it for full disclosure. I have just driven 2000 miles to Europe in it as I have no concerns to use it in this manner.

Summary
It is good to go for another 12 months if someone wants a reliable family car or a general workhorse without the need for immediate expenditure. It is not perfect, but it is an honest car. Happy to answer any questions or send photos through.

I am looking for £1999 ovno as it is a lot of car for the money in the current climate

Thanks for looking

Tom
