As title, car seems to drive okay but noticed when say coming out of car park exit with very tight turns as you exit the levels you hear and feel like friction (movement?) or chatter as you make tight right turn. Left side seems okay. Assuming this is maybe a balljoint or suspension arm/ track rod issue?

I got the front of car up on big jack and put bar on joints but cannot seem to find play, there again not really sure if I have the bar in the right position or what I am actually looking for. I guess I am looking for some sort of play as to what could be causing the issue.

any help guidance greatly appreciated.

Search "Ackerman Effect".....its a by product of the steering geometry.....and that's probably what you are feeling/hearing.

Thats odd, about 1 minute before reading your reply, I saw on google 'Ackerman Effect' !
Also have seen tyres can be the cause, seems the term is 'crabbing on full lock'.
I am going to have all x4 wheels off and will swap the fronts with the rears and see if there is an improvement or better still totally resolves the issue.

Thanks for reply btw.👍

Changing tyres around or replacement for harder/softer tyres can hide or even stop it....but chances are that it will just be a Band-Aid and as the tyres wear and or harden it will return.....you are pushing the tyres slightly sideways so something has to give. My wife's A Class has done it all the time we have had and and with two or three different sets of tyres....its fine normally as you can feel it but not hear it....but throw a painted floor like a workshop or a multi storey into the mix and, from a distance, it sounds like she's a boy racer bombing around the car park at about 90!!!

Yep, mine does it worse in Car park tight exit turns. Mine doesn't make much noise but as you say can kind of feel it vibrating
