I thought it would be good to keep the mods and light refreshments I'm doing to my seven seat S211 E55K AMG to a nice clean thread...
Mods carried out by previous owner: Kleeman headers, genuine Brabus brake set-up and primary cats removed.
This is how it looked when I bought it:
First jobs done: full engine service using all genuine OEM Mercedes parts, change gearbox and diff oil, brand new Mercedes OEM battery.
Second job was to find a set of 19" AMG IV split rims, which I did courtesy of the forum:
Next was to fit some proper rubber; Continental Sport Contact 2's:
Then get them on, not much spare room between the inside and the Brabus calliper:
Next was locking nuts and centre caps, again genuine OEM Mercedes parts:
Still to come: Carbon fibre engine cover, a little bit more exhaust work and a few bits and bobs of general wear and tear items. I'm two minds whether to start upping the power, these brakes are so unreal that it's seem a bit of a waste not to get into the 600's!
I'm giving it a good clean etc tomorrow so I'll post up more photos soon.
