S211 front coil colour codes

Broke a front spring today on the S211 E320CDi, and the colour code is 2 x yellow + 1 green.

Anyone have a part number based on this ?

Or does anyone handy have a copy of the EPC that can look it up if I supply the vin.

Call the dealers and just give them the reg number and the colour coding , thats all they will need.

I was £160 supplied and fitted to the loose struts at MB Grangemouth for my W219.

The springs were £60 each and they only took a reasonable £40 to fit them.

They are the easiest struts to remove of any car i have worked on.

A2113210404 BASED ON THE COLOUR CODE 406mm length,coil diam 116mm, wire 12.8 cross section diam SACHS NO 998659
but check against your chassis no and equipment.
Replace them in pairs

Just a thought. But full struts with the correct springs can be bought for £50 on ebay or apex breakers do pairs for about £120 .

Second hand are taking risks . Most cars in there ,,have had hard accidental damage so i would think new is the way I would go.

The 2 i got from a 2007 e class were like new. They are out there.
