Hello,

The rear cargo cover attached to the rear seats of the Estate, how does one remove it? If the owners book says so, I've missed it.

Trip to Ikea coming up you see!

Thanks.

Fold the seats forward and it slides out to the side.

I *think* it slides off to the left but have never really given it much thought. You just fold the seats down and then give it a tap, it should slide straight out.

Perhaps stating the obvious but you have folded both seats down haven’t you? :)

Fold both seats down and then slide it off the back of the larger one (passenger side) through the rear passenger door. It's surprisingly heavy!

Hacksaw straight through the middle - that'll sort it.

Thanks guys. Will give it a go some time. Luckily we managed with the 40% side down, the length of the box slipped through the back onto that side with the load cover still attached to the 60% side.

Needs a hefty wack with the palm of your hand from (I think) the offside

(Have you discovered that it auto retracts when you open the tailgate yet? Way cool feature)

Yes I discovered that by accident and was really impressed, it's a very very useful feature which I didn't know about when looking for my first Mercedes.
