S211 multichanger motorised cover jammed

Any ideas for quick fixes that do not involve brute force or ignorance?

If this is the same thing as a W211, mine has done it a couple of times but left alone it sorted itself out after a day or so. Not sure why, but gift horse and all that!

Snap. Got into it this morning and cover had retracted. Works fine now.
