My S211 is showing that a "C" service is due soon. What I have gleaned is that a "C" service is an oil & filter change + air filter and whatever the onboard computer thinks needs doing. I have got into the Onboard computers "Service Menu" and under "Items" it shows Service 1,6,9,13,14. Under "Addit Work" it shows Service 1,3,5,6,9,11,12,13 and on the entry "Service 6" it has "Exh Gas Analysis" + "General Inspection". My car has 12 MB dealer stamps in the "Service" booklet and now has 157K miles on the clock.
So am I right in thinking that my car only needs the oil& filters replaced? Also, from what I have written above, do you think I have read the Onboard "Service Menu" correctly? Thanks in advance for your help.

The "Addit Work" menu lists things that you can add, not things it thinks need doing. I presume you're aware of ESS?

So yes: oil, oil filter and air filter.

Thanks for the info troon and no, I am not aware of ESS.

I don't know if this means anything, but under "Service Data" it has the code 80T31

Take a look at ESS (it was a link in my post). Select your car (Baumuster is the first six digits of your VIN, 2112??), put in your mileage and reg date, and it'll give you the list.
