S211 Wagon roof rail rubbers

Been pecking away at various things on my E55 wagon and I have replaced most trim and covers that aren't damaged or missing but noticed the other day the rubbers around the base of the roof rails are starting to crack and split anyone tried to replace these I am presuming you also have to get the roof lining down to get access to the roof rail bolts? Be nice to get these changed some point soon bet parts aren't expensive just a pain if roof lining has to come down.
