S212 Luggage Compartment Cover - Help

I have just purchased a 3 year old E Class Estate - 350 cgi - a fantastic car with a real peach of an engine. However, I'm struggling to completely remove the luggage compartment cover and wondered if any owners could give me some pointers - for example is there a knack? The left hand side removes easily when I slide the retaining clip but the right hand side stays in the retaining slot and I can't remove it no matter how I try. There doesn't seem to be a lock for this side so I'm assuming it should just lift or slide out. I've checked the manual and it simply states to "remove it". Any pointers gratefully received.

On mine I press the button on the left hand side and pivot the cassette towards me, where, at about 7 o clock it will pull out of the right hand side.

Once out you'll see it just slots back on the right hand side and clips into place on the left hand side.
