Hi All

My 2010 E-350 has developed a low speed judder under light load around 1500-1800rpm. It also sometimes shifts down less smoothly than it ought to.

The car has done 133,000 is this normal for this age car to start getting problems?

The MB dealer has gone off to get the price for changing the TC and is asking MB UK for a contribution (or is that just flannel?), what sort of cost am I looking at?

Has the time come to start using independents? Main dealer is giving 40% off labour and 10% on parts. But guessing even then they are still expensive.

Thanks

Steed.

Hello and welcome.

Where are you in the uk ?

So the outcome of this was. £1500 dealer swap out of TC. So went to local Automatic Gearbox specialist, they changed fluid and also added two lots of Dr. Tranny Judder which seemed to have fixed it.

Very happy.
