S213 Accessories

Got in our S213 yesterday to find that Mrs PaulXC had accessorised it.

As it's the first column mounted shift lever car she’s driven on a regular basis, she was worried that she’d shift it into neutral when driving.

So she’s added a saucepan handle cover over the stalk “so that it feels wrong” if she reaches for it in error.

Her thinking is that, in our VW Polo this stalk position is for the wiper controls.

Ha Ha I love it.
I know the feeling though. I had a W204 C-Class before my E-Class and they have swapped around the indicator stalk and the speed limiter/cruise stalk. I still find myself indicating when I mean to stick the speed limiter on. Nightmare

Does it even have neutral?

I thought it was either in drive,reverse or park and you can't accidentally change it on the move.
