S213 E63s 2017 Vs 2019 Vs Edition 1

Don't worry they're coming onto the market regularly. I've been watching the market for a year lol and hopefully you'll get better pricing too

I hope you're right @TrueSpirit, hope I don't have to wait a year like you did.

Out of curiosity does anyone know why the imported black S205 C63 has been on AT for ages? Is it just that it's imported people are avoiding it?

Also have you seen the crazy stage 3 1033bhp E63s on AT? I'm not brave enough to go near something that modified but it's a good read

£50k for a car that in all likelihood un-drivable in its current state, unless you like drag racing frequently.

I don’t dispute the money spent on it but that’s a seriously optimistic asking price for a car that might be on borrowed time.

I see a car like that as worth LESS than stock not more.....how long before something breaks and how well was it done? And that's about 6k over average according to AT. Tiny audience for modded cars like that too... and that will only make the value lower...supply and demand and all that.

I agree, won't be going anywhere near it.

Turns out that edition 1 I was looking at is modified too, CATs have been removed, stage 1 remap.

That car has been on AT for nearly 2 years, since I took an interest in W213's
There must be a good reason why it's not sold and I don't think it';s the price.

Traders aren't stupid. They can just take the car off AT for a week then readvertise it and it doesn't show the original date the car was first advertised.
Motorhub have two grey E63's that have been on sale forever. (2yrs+ at least). Looking at their advert you wouldn't know it.

Do you have a link for the imported C?

Such a waste, it has a really strong list of options. Driver assistance, wood trim, designo white , heads up display.

It does have some desirable options, but there must be something about the car to result in a no sale for so long.

Link to imported C63, got to have been on sale over a yr

Update: The edition 1 has come available again! Dealership said they'd refunded other guys deposit. 🤷‍♂️

I've been to see it, it's a beast!

The dealer is refitting the OEM downpipes and sorting out the PPF which is lifting in some places. Car still has the map on though, not necessarily a deal breaker for me but I've not heard of the company.

Only cost £360! MSL want over £1k for a stage 1 on an E63, I'm a bit concerned.

Have it removed. It will probably need to be remapped after the cats are refitted anyway.

I said exactly that to the dealer! He's swearing blind it doesn't. Ideally I'd like a reputable company like Celtic or MSL to check it.

At least the previous owner took his terrible number plate DK13OYD with him to his 72 plate M5 competition.
What sort of aftermarket warranty do these guys offer on the car ?

“Big Fish Tuning” is up North and John is a knowledgeable guy…
Thank you, I'll look them up 👍

Haha @TrueSpirit been doing some sleuthing?

Just 3 months, options to extend of course.

My C43 is up on AT now:

You could ring the tuning company up and see if they have a copy of the original map which they could flash back on, if you remove the downpipes your better off removing that map or getting it remapped again.

I think 70% of the E63's I have seen have had downpipes and a map as a minimum, most revert back when they sell so hard to tell if they have been mapped in the past or not.

I've spoken to the dealer about it, says they can remove it if I want. .....just can't decide if I want to 🤣

I'll get in touch with BFT for some advice thank you 👍

I recommend a proper warranty for at least a couple years. Looks like a lot of these cars including estates have been tuned etc I don't mind downpipes if they have cats and will pass an MOT, in fact i'd love a set of downpipes fitted. On the 213 the stock set up is incredibly responsive and explosive , but sure some people want even more power. I've heard a lot of reports that the stock 603bhp is a very conservative power rating and theres a lot more power on offer than that. I suggest pulling the trigger with the best warranty you can get
