S280 (w140) N/S/F Heated seat Problem

hi everyone,

i got problem with the heated seats. thy were both working fine but yesterday the passenger side one stopped working. Even the light on the switch doesnt work on the left side and its cold int he mornings.#

checked the fuse but it seems fine.

Can someone help me with this or do i have to fork out for a trip to the merc garage.

Most likely to be the heated seat relay.

It may be something like a dodgy switch, loose wiring connection so you will need to check.

On the W126 the relay is located under the seats, not sure on the W140. First course of action is to check if there is a power feed going to the relay. If so then check if there is power oing to the switch. If there is no power going to the realy then there is a power interruption before then, if there is power to the relay then it can be the relay if there is no power at the heated seat switch.
