Problems appeared after the car was left for over a month without being started. The battery inevitably went flat, throwing a number of sensors. A new battery has been fitted, but the problems below persisted, even after a garage carried out a diagnostic test and cleared all the old codes.

The car is in limp mode. It has the following noted faults which prevent it from being driven any distance.

ABS light ON.

Airmatic fault - the pump motor hums when raising the car. There is an apparent leak in the airmatic system. When the car is left for more than a couple of hours it will settle onto it's bump stops. The first wheel to go down is the rear nearside, then the front nearside and the both offside wheels together.

ESP fault.

Display defective.

Speedo not working.

Automatic transmission is not smooth when moving from reverse to drive.

Give it chance, you only posted at 12.16am!

How old is the car, you don't say in your post.

Probably the best thing to do is take it to a reliable Indie in your area and get a Star Test done, some diagnostic tests do not show exactly what is the cause of the problem, a good Indie should be able to check this out and advise you.

I expect the air mass is faulty for starters.

A Star is what is needed.
