Hi all
I have been having an ongoing problem with EML coming on with fault code P2459.
I clear the fault and it is fine for a while.
After a long run (which I do on a daily basis) I will stop for a short while then start up again. Normally at this point I notice the revs are holding in at low speed i.e. Not changing up, that's when the light comes on.
In the past 2 years it has had 2 nox and 1 DPF Sensor replaced!
My Indi has had it on the Diagnostics machine and it is saying it is regenerating too frequently.
Any thoughts or previous experience to remedy this would be much appreciated.
The year of car is 2011
Many thanks

Engine temperature is important to correct DPF regen. Is your thermostat ok and the engine running in the high 80s to low 90s?

ps I note that your car has been to an Indy, but worth asking nevertheless!

Temp correct, think possibly a failing DPF sensor although only changed in the last 18 months!!
Car into Indy next week, I think they are about £65 or so, I'll get it replaced!
