S350d L with 20 inch Wheels

My new, to me, car is being picked up on Sunday. Appreciate this may have been discussed before but is there really much difference between the 19 and 20 inch wheels on an S Class? I drove two back to back and didnt really notice much difference at all, although threr is always a bit of a ruch buying a new car so was probably not as attentative to it as I could have been. My new car has the 20 inch wheels. Just wondered what the real world experience of others was/is with these..

They’re absolutely fine from a ride quality aspect but, and I say this seriously, keep it away from potholes. These have had a tendency to crack fairly easily.

My own S500 has 19s and I've also driven an S450 with 20s.

I found the S450 did not ride nearly as well but the problem is I have MBC and the S450 doesn't so that will play a part.

What I would say though is I had 20s on my previous 216 CL500 which had ABC and that rode incredibly-well so if you are finding that already, you should be fine albeit watch out for potholes as stated above.
