Yesterday my father in law took delivery of an S500 Coupe. He's always had Mercedes and had the two previous model CL500's.
The new S Coupe is lovely, everything he wanted it to be. The specification chosen and colour etc looks great. He bought the premium model, in silver, with the designo leather exclusive pack, HUD and a driving safety pack.
The sound of the car when it starts up is great, a real rumble. He overtook me on the motorway on the way home and the exhaust popped as he accelerated, it was great.
I'm sure if it's anything like his old CL500, which he's kept, he will have ten happy years of motoring.
The new car makes my E Class Cab look so old!
