S55 drivers door electric mirror issue

Hi all,
Slight issue with the door mirror not locking out when folding out, folds in perfect but when opening seems to go all the way but won't lock out, motar makes three or four clicks, but it's not locking so blows back half way in where it meets resistance lock.

Have you given it a push to lock it into position ?

Just tried it, won't lock, passenger mirror when it is open you can't push it in with your hand but the driver side you can.

It could well be the door wiring loom. They are prone to internal wire breaks due to the continual opening and shutting of the door.
Have you got a good auto electrical guy/company near you? or a Merc specialist? Iam sure there is one in Bexley, just can't remember the name.

Took the glass out and in the bottom corner when you operate the mirror to open their is a plastic wheel that turns, this is what ain't locking out ,makes the clicking sound when trying to lock.
