Now thats one nice looking car in an amazing colour. Designo special with custom interior too. Needs facelift front lights though to freshen it up from the front.

The exterior colour is gorgeous! Makes me wonder why 99.999% of people who buy their Mercedes's new spec them in black and white.
The interior colour would take some getting used to, but I like it better than plain black.

Every S55 I've seen on the road of that generation has had terrible rust though. Last one I saw on the motorway had holes in the front wings it was that bad.

I love the interior, but I dislike how you'd pay all that money to AMG Designo and they plonk a lovely brown leather in with standard black plastic dash and carpets.

Jaguar have always been better at completely colour coding the whole interior.

It looks like the seats were afterthought as they don'twork with the other interior colours, but I actually love the colour, if only they'd done it properly.

Nice car though, this model was a really sleek shape.

Spot on, though I'd cite Alfa Romeo and Ferrari as doing a rather better job on the interiors.
That S55 looks like a taxi inside, a massive, massive disappointment.

I'm quite taken by it to be honest - the interior isn't as bad as I thought it might be. It would be nicer if it had full leather on the dash too.

Is the engine the same as my E55 i.e with supercharger - or is it the W210 engine?

It's the non-kompressor version, which produced about 355 HP.

There isa thread running about car interiorsand I would suggest this car corroborateswhat is being said That interior looks repulsive and I can see why the price isdroppping.

Judging by the standard of driving by some of our members, I would suggest that thoseseats are the ideal colour and would not show up any 'accidents'

thats good news for any petrol head as they often have some 'left field' stock. Lots of amg's too. Noticed on pistonheads nobody has any adverse comments, which is unusual!
