Hi to everyone, new to this so here goes. I have replaced the dredded oil heater transfer box on a W reg V12 s600. Its all back together and now running rugh. my OBD II reader is saying cylinders 9 (P2059-P0309) 10 (P2056-P0310) and 11 (P052-P0311) are misfiring. I have spoken to two independent merc garages and say it will be the coil pack (right side as you look at the engine from the front of the car). The engine will only rev to 3000 rpm (wich I know is save mode for the engine). I have replaced the said coil pack with a second hand unit. ouch...(and thats for a second hand unit) and have still got the same codes. I have done a compression test and those cylinders show 197 psi 182 psi and 198 psi. any and all help will be welcome.

Obvious question but, have you reset the fault codes?

Hi, thanks for the reply...yes I have, I'v disconected the battery and left it over night and also reset with the scanner. the thing that i'm looking at now is the eci unit in the middle of the two coils, or, where I had to bend the engine loom out the way to get the head off I might have damaged a/some wires.

Is this your own car ?

No this is not my car. I'm was fixing it for a friend. It was only the oil cooler was leaking. replaced and fixed that, and now I'v spent two months on trying to get it running correctly.

No. I have not done that. but I have swopped the left bank with the right bank, so I guess it rules that out.
