I thought that was going to Dubai after its Mercedes Enthusiast feature.

Lovely rare car in tremendous condition. "Picky" me, says shame it isn't a 73 in RHD

That place always has lovely stock and wonderfully comprehensive adverts!
ETA: They do seem to be a little wrong on power and engine specs for this S70, though. It's anot 525bhp 7.3 litre, but a 7 litre with shade below 500bhp.

I have seen this in the flesh ... Its not mint (by that i mean real pebble beach winning mint) but it is really really nice.
An amazing car. Would love to own it.

Nice though it is, I'm fairly sure it's a 1994 model which wold still be on the dizzy caps and dodgy wiring. An S72 or S73 is a much batter car and not that rare if you're willing to import from Japan. You really don't want a wiring loom taking out the ECUs and throttle bodies on one of these engines!

Albalawi cars is Sharjah UAE regularly have examples in stock in both LHD and RHD if anybody wants one.

I remember Talbir picking up an absolute steal on eBay a couple of years ago a genuine w140 6.9 for approx £3.5k. This was completely working and with Lorinser split rims. Bargain of the century.

Most of the decent older AMG stuff never even makes to the site, so it's best to speak to them and they can usually source whatever you want. Bear in mind though, despite the quantity of MB cars they move, they don't really have clue and out zero effort into prepping the cars.

Wasnt this the one that was on display at MB Brooklands?
The left hand side headlamp wiper is missing its cap for the nut/bolt - same as the one that was at Brooklands a while back.........

It is the same one. Thats what I thought ... Its nice but needs some love to take it to the top level.
I would say it was the worse presented car in the place but actually that would appeal as it only needs elbow grease and minor bits and bobs.
It was probably my favorite car of the day ... Have pics as my phone wallpaper!
