I hate to admit it but I did the exact same thing (house clearance) with my 2003 E500 Avantgarde (with nappa) Estate. They seem to beg to be loaded up No pics unfortunately but I did at least line the back with an old bedsheet first.

A bit of both, I think I killed it in the end with 20 or so trips to the tip with rubble, flooring, garden rubbish etc.

It was bought as a shed on wheels from day 1 - Had done 225K miles when I sold it!

Had a few months MOT and tax when purchased, I got my money's worth out of it, then sold it on. Cost £380, sold for £240 (spares/repairs)

So £140, probably saved me £1000 in skips at least
