The salty roads have ruined my rear alloys in just a few days.

I will have to take them off and polish them with a dremel!! this also means carrying my wheel chammios and a bottle of water with me for my wheels at all times!!

as you know the rears on mine have a HIGHLY polished mirror finish which is now tarnished :(

Laquer is good but in the summer once they are polished they look awesome!! cant have it all I guess?
 
Best invest in some cool :( steel rims for the next winter. Course you need some plastic trims as well :D
 
Have been hand washin all our wheels once a week and they have lasted...

Even the ones with polished rims...

That must be some serious salt!! Or we have 5000 layers ;)
 
I haven't got any problems with my polished lips on the OEM MB alloys I am (disab)using...
