Right so last summer I decided to sand back the dishes on my amg monoblocks to achieve a mirror polished finish.
I went through various grades of wet sanding starting from around 120 grit and making my way up to a very fine 2500 grit.
For a first time doing something like this I was pleased with the results however as you can see by looking at the attached images there is a tight corner edge where there is still some lacquer. The lacquer on my wheels was pretty stubborn and the wet sand paper in this edge would just cumble away.
It really would make all the difference if I sorted this small issue out, so was wondering if I could get any pointers from the trusty mb forum on how to get around this with ease.
I will probably lightly sand the whole dishes while I'm at it firstly to blend in and secondly to get rid of stone chips etc which have accumulated over the past year.
Thank you
