Hi,
I am a new member. My most recent Mercedes has a UHI telephone connector. It also appears as if the car can find my bluetooth phone (although I can't seem to use it through the car. Looking around the forums it looks as if I need a SAP V2 or V3? Any advice appreciated and anyone selling one please let me know. Thanks!

Hi, what car do you have? If it does not have Bluetooth then you will need to buy a Bluetooth cradle.

Not necessarily true - if it has UHI then a BT module will do. Which one will depend on which phone you use and its protocol. rSap needs V3 and others need HFP .... check with these people

Which cars have this feature? The only car that I know of that has the option for Bluetooth is the pre facelift s class?

MY09> audio units and comand units have full bluetooth integrated.

Like I said then, if your car has Bluetooth then you will be ok. If not and your car has telephone pre-wiring then you will need a Bluetooth cradle. You could either get a hfp or sap cradle depending on which phone you have.

Often the car has bluetooth but not support for BT HF profile. You must mean "if the car supports BT HF, the owner does not need any adapter to reach BT HF support" (I would have expected the owner figuring this out too).

i have a SAP unit for sale, its the V2 unit that looks like an SLR Its currently on ebay, but if interest pm me and I will send the details
