SAP V4 phone compatibility?

Can anyone help, I currently use A Samsung A3 (2017) connected to my Command system via SAP V4 it works perfectly.
Has anyone been successful with any other Samsung recent phones?
The reason I use the SAP V4 is It uses the cars external antenna for exceptional call reception and quality. It would seem I am almost alone in using this combination.
Sadly the sap connection only works with a few, mostly android phones. It has never been supported by iPhones.
I would love to hear any feedback.

I have a Samsung A5 (2017) which also works well with my SAP v4.

I believe S9 (single sim version) as sold in UK also supports the bluetooth SAP profile, but dual sim versions sold in other European countries do not. Seems to have upset a few folk, as most VW Group cars use SAP profile for their phone connection.
