Sat nav c class 2017 notifications

Hi

Would anyone have any idea how to switch off the notifications on 2017 c class model sat nav. I have recently upgraded my sd card to 2022, however the notification for speed cameras keeps pinging and interrupting the radio/ music. Any ideas?

As far as I can see, the menu screen in the photo that you posted is for the settings for traffic alerts, which is different to speed cameras alert.

Assuming your car is the W205 pre-facelift, then you seem to have to Audio20 NTG5*2 infotainment system with the Garmin Map Pilot navigation on SD-Card.

If so, then as far as I am aware, Garmin Map Pilot on Merceds Benz cars does not have native support for speed cameras warnings.

If this is the case, then there are two possibilities: either the pinging that you are hearing isn't speed camera warning (e.g., it could be a warning that you are exceeding the speed limit, regardless of the presence - or lack of - of a camera in the area), or someone may have added a database of speed cameras as Personal POIs (Point of Interest).

If the latter, then you should look under the POI section of the menu, and look for the option to enable or disable audible alerts when approaching a Personal POI nearby.
