Sat Nav MB Travel Pilot for sale

Original MB Travel pilot SAT nav single din 2 part system with brand new wiring loom & wiring diagram.
Head unit & boot based CD rom drive. Loom cost £145.
THis is a Cassette head unit but connects to Mb CD changer - (also available for £100 if required but needs a new cable ) .

The Sat nav is used and was removed from my 1999 E55 due to comand install

Would this sale include everything required to get the system working? In particular the GPS Antenna & Nav disk.

My OEM GPS antenna is still on teh roof of my E class and is used for comand.

I have a map disk but its out of date, & I do have a generic GPS antenna available which I could include.

Yes its like the one in the picture but please note mine has a cassette slot that is behind the LCD flip down panel.

Part number for the head unit is A 208 820 0589

That's the lot. It needs a good home (at a fair price) as its just all sitting in my garage at present.

Having moved house and sorted out my garage I have stumbled across this Travel pilot set which I'd forgotton about.

Anyone interested?

I need the space so £275 the lot (includes the new APS loom & Cd changer) so I reckon its now a bit of a bargain.

Can someone tell me whether i would be able to fit this in my 123??? I only have space for a single din. how far away can The other bit (which i assume is for the Nav cd) be put, is the loom long enough for that to sit in the boot or somewhere?? Alsoso my 123 wouldnt have speed pulse, can bus or anything, is it necessary??

If this is all ok then im interested.

The loom allows for the CD rom to be boot mounted as it was in my E class W210.

I belive that the unit takes its speed info from the ABS sensors. So no real reason why it should not work. I offer no warranty though as I have nevr wired one in as it came with the car. I only bought the loom to help sell the unit so whoever buys it would need to sort that bit out themsleves or go to a specialist like braybrooks.
