sat nav

the sat nav in my 2000 w220 sclass has started to run very very slow when i try to input a destination when i change the disc ti appears as read error any help please

I`d reckon the laser is on its way out

The lasers on these are quite weak which seems to be a design in 'feature' to cause problems if owners try using aftermarket Maps.

A small amount of dirt or grime can cause this fault so a careful dismantle and clean up with a Cotton Bud can glean good results.
